On a Friday on a Thursday

January 20, 2010-- On a Friday, a new live music review website which champions the contributions of college students from the Boston area, hosted a back-to-school mixer showcasing the talents of local djs and bands.

The bill consisted of BU student and dj Nooka Jones, Allston-based Mystery Roar and freshly renvenu'd from national tour Pretty and Nice.

Despite the nipping weather conditions the dance floor was packed to the brim with coeds ranging from 18 to 38 years old shaking their tailfeathers to the jeune face of Boston's independent music scene.
